Honey Bee
I know, kind of a *duh* question, but I've really have never seen a list of math facts a child should know (and when would be great too!). All of our curriculum's have them integrated into them, but a checklist would be nice! I keep wondering with RS, what games we really need to be playing. *sigh*
NavyWifeandMommy
www.aaamath.com. you can get math families there. I ended up buying children's placemats from Wal-mart or Target with the facts and put them on the wall in our school corner.
nmoira
Basic: addition/subtraction within 20 by end of 1st 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 multiplication tables by end of 2nd, rest by end of 3rd division facts by end of 3rd Here's what we do beyond basic facts: squares to 15^2, plus 25^2 cubes to 10^3 powers of 2 to 2^15 (more like skip counting, I don't drill these individually, except for 2^5=32 and 2^10=1024) all common fraction <----> decimal and percent conversion, including 6ths, 8ths, and 16ths count by 15's, 12's, 24's
