Latin Prep Book 1 workbook?

For those of you who use the workbooks with Latin Prep, how do you schedule them? Do you do them during the chapter work, or after the chapter work? The exercises look really short, but I don't wish to rush my dd12 through the program. She wants to do Latin 3 times a week, so I was thinking of assigning pages.

We use them during the chapter work. When something has been introduced in the chapter we intersperse the workbook exercises.

I open the books for each session, check what we have learned in the chapter against the workbook, and assign something if it's suitable.
