Carrie12345
Our unofficial team mom told me yesterday that she'd like to get our coach a gift cert. to our local pizza joint as a thank you gift. It's a nice idea, making it something he can do with his family after spending so much family time coaching! Knowing it's an economically diverse area, she left it as "Whatever you're able to do." Well, I could easily chip in $20. I think we have 13 kids on the team (not including his own son). Even at $5/each, that's a pretty decent meal at this place for his small family! Of course, there's nothing wrong with making it large enough to cover multiple visits. Will it look out of place if I hand over $20? Should I care? WWYD... if you were able? RoughCollie
I'd give $20.
SonshineLearner
I think that's very kind!! Ten or so would be nice... but some either won't choose to.. or really won't be able to...so that's very nice!!
LauraGB
I would pitch in whatever I would have spent personally to buy him a gift.
jenL
Give what you can and don't worry how it looks because there might be a family that can't do anything at all. :iagree:
Carrie12345
Thanks, all! People can be quite catty around here. I know I shouldn't give it a second thought, but I did. Thanks for bringing me back to the first thought!
