Julie in CA
The "recent items" list only shows old stuff--old songs & pictures, etc, and not recent documents used, etc. Why?! I'd like to be able to go there and click on the documents I worked on all day yesterday.

Julie in CA
We have a 'recent items ' list? Lara If you click your start menu, then look on the right hand side of the column, there's "recent items" (at least there is for me!) except that for some reason, mine isn't showing truly recent items.
usetoschool
For some reason mine list is in alphabetical order. I only use that shortcut about twice a year though so I have never put any effort in trying to fix it. I just work around it. Maybe somebody will know how to actually change the settings. Until then I just right click on Recent Items and Open it. That brings up the entire file that can be sorted anyway you want. Also, if you use Microsoft Office Word 2007 or Excel 2007 when you click on the Start button there is a list of the most recent documents off to the right of the menu that pops up. I will be waiting to see if anyone knows how to resort the Recent Items list and make it useful. :bigear:
