galtgrl
I'm trying to plan for next year, and can't decide whether to do Alg. 2 and advanced Bio., or Alg. 2 and Chem. I also can't decide if it'll be too much to do Jacobs Geometry at the same time. Some people have said they need Alg. 2 before Advanced Biology, but I don't understand why - I can't recall any use for Alg. 2 -type information for Adv. Bio. Anyway, those of you who've done these together - good idea or not, and why?:bigear::bigear::bigear:
LinRTX
If this is the Apologia Advance Bio., I don't remember any math in it at all. Actually I'm not certain any curriculum would need Algebra 2 for biology. Linda
rockala
I was thinking of having my dd take Apologia Anatomy and Physiolgy next year right after this year of her doing Biology. I consulted with two different teachers and they both said take chemistry first and then advanced bio. This was for Apologia though. So we have decided to take chem next year and the A& P her juinor year so she can do the SAT II test summer before her senior year.
