littlebug42
A last minute opportunity came up for my dh to take the kids and visit family out of state this weekend. I cannot go because I have to work but they will be gone for 5 days. I don't know what to do with myself. Practically, I know that I should take the opportunity to do some really good housecleaning but all I want to do is stock up from the library and read/watch movies the whole time. I am most excited about being able to eat everything I want for 5 days and not having to worry about feeding anyone else on any kind of schedule. Any good book suggestions? I prefer at this point fiction (mystery, thriller, historical) but nothing too gut wrenching.
Brigitte
I had the same opportunity in December. I deep cleaned my twins' bedroom and watched chick-flicks that I knew dh would never watch. It was blissful. I also ate food I would never feed to my kids (Long John Silvers, etc.). It was good! ETA: I also attended daily mass.
