Ellie
without actually attaching the flour cannister to it, the flour will shoot halfway across the kitchen, covering everything in whole wheat flour, which the dog will lick up off the floor until you drag out your cannister vac and clean it all up. And BTW, the vac does a good job of cleaning off the counter, the kitchen table, and the knife block, as well. That is all. Epilogue: If the yeast you use is expired but you didn't know it, you'll have four bricks of whole wheat, unleavened bread. That is all. Again. MomsintheGarden
 Ain't that the truth! And I would like to know WHY it is called the "Whisper" Mill. It sounds more like a jet engine to me. Sorry about your mess! GardenMom
kewb
Oh, been there. It was quite messy.
Blueridge
Woo Hoo, I've done it, too! The day my mom came over, and I begged her to watch me demonstrate how to grind up some wheat...:D. She was not impressed. :001_huh:
gracefulhome
It is messy! :iagree: Also, if the lid is not really on all the way, the flour will shoot out the sides of the canister. You may find flour residue in unexpected places for weeks.
