Granny_Weatherwax
In some recent threads regarding K12/ Powerspeak Spanish I had stated I was disappointed with the program. I am having to rethink those statements. When DS and I were in Boston we happened to be on the subway with a group of people who were speaking Spanish. When we disembarked DS looked at me and said "That was awkward." I asked him what he meant and he proceeded to tell me about their conversation. :001_smile: So...he obviously is developing an understanding of the language. I am not happy with the lack of writing or speaking that is involved but I guess it is not totally worthless.
NoPlaceLikeHome
I agree that it does help one to understand a language:) My ds is using the first level of elementary German. We are both learning to understand quite a bit of German which was surprising to me since I was not too keen on it at first.
