Liz CA
Ds is facing a series of tests of all varieties in the next few months. While we have discussed and implemented study and test taking strategies during our years of homeschooling, I am now looking for a more *official* version. Can you suggest a book(let) or a website? TravelingChris
Which tests?
FaithManor
If one of the tests is the A.C.T., then I would recommend the Princeton A.C.T. study book with practice tests. Actually, though geared for the A.C.T., the study recommendations apply to any high stakes/timed test. The author also has a sense of humor. DD did very well with this book. I think we purchased it from out local Barnes and Nobles and if you have the teacher discount (homeschoolers do qualify) you will get the 20% discount. Liz CA
One of them may well be the ACT, also possibly the ASVAB (we got Barron's Guide for that). I am also looking for a summary/list/whatever about some general, good study habits & strategies.
