  1. 1. What is done first?

    • The 3r's are first.

Recommended Posts

Morning Routine (bathe, dress, clean up room, breakfast, clean up, chores)

Play Time (I have more chores than they do, LOL)

Seat Work (This signals the start of "school work"--math drill, math lesson, handwriting/copywork, grammar/narration, spelling, memory work, phonics/easy readers + preschool stuff for the twins)

Break/Snack

Group Time (Prims & Hymns, Moving to Music, Preschool/Grammy's House, Science/Art) -- after this, we're officially "done," except they really do expect "a read" after lunch/before nap. They seem to like my soft, warm lap. :D

Play Time

Lunch & Listening (we listen to classical music & I read about a composer. They love this! Go figure).

Read Aloud on the Sofa (Bible, Folk Tales, Poetry, Animal Books, Picture Books) -- Here's the soft, warm lap. Makes them so sleepy.....

Nap (every day)

Play Time

Pajamas & Supper

Read Aloud on the Bed with Mommy (oldest, chapter book) AND/OR Read Aloud on the Sofa with Daddy (twins, picture books)

Bed :D -- which is where I should be now, right?
