Can I bake a meatloaf in my new Pampered Chef Stoneware loaf pan?

The instructions for seasoning the stoneware say to either spray with vegetable oil spray or bake high-fat food for the first several uses.

 

So, my meatloaf is fairly high fat (I use hamburger and sausage combination), but is it okay to season it with a raw meat product?
