SonshineLearner
Hi There, I know the Hive can help me out! I have a pdf file and I need to make changes on it. I'm not the original author of it, so I can't use ...well.. the original. I went through and tried to make some changes.. I think I just have to play with it more. Basically, I want to be able to do a "find" and then replace. After I play around with it, do you think this is doable? Anyone who has worked with this... I'd love some help:-) Carrie
Sandy in Indy
I don't think you can change a pdf in the way you want. You might be able to pull it into Photoshop and make the changes, then re-pdf the file.
G5052
From the PDF either use the mouse to select the text you want or do CRTL-A to select the whole document. Then right-click and choose "Copy with Formatting." Then open Word, and right-click and choose Paste. Usually this works for me, better in Word 2007 than Word 2003. I haven't really used any of the Adobe products in a few years other than a little Dreamweaver to fix a website for someone.
Samiam
There's a free program, called CuteWriter....it basically acts like Adobe Writer, meaning allows you to make changes to Adobe PDF files....you can download it online, and it's super easy to use.
