swellmomma
As I have been figuring out my homeschooling needs and long term plan I am thinking that once we are done with SL cores 3&4 (for bigs) and core K &1 (for ds6) we will switch to TOG to begin the 4 year cycle. February is having a really good deal so I am wondering if it is worth buying Y1DE and saving it for the the next 2 years or if they update content enough each year to make that a bad idea? Because it is DE it will take up no space for the move so if it is not going to change mush it would be a good time to buy it. THoughts on this? TracyP
If you buy DE you get free updates.:D I don't know if that makes it worth it. What if your plan changes? But if you're sure, then it seems to me that prices only go up so I try to buy ahead too when I see good deals.
swellmomma
Awesome, then that is what I will do. The DE will only be $150 in february so very worth it for me. I know what I want for the kids junior high/high school education and TOG seems to address that need. The little ones will be along for the ride. I would start it next year, but I already own the SL cores I listed above and want to finish with them first.
TracyP
Drats!:glare: I just bought Year 2 at full price last week! Doesn't that figure?:tongue_smilie:
Heather in WI
The DE will only be $150 in february so very worth it for me. According to the latest price sheet, DE will be $170 in February. Unless there is a sale going on next month? I bought the current bonus bundle for year one two weeks ago after seeing this post on their forums. momee
Okay, I'll bite. What's up with the $150 in Feb. price?
Cynful
They sent out a newsletter last night that said in February the price would be $20 off the listed prices. I assumed that meant $150 as well. :) HTH,
