SonshineLearner
Hi There, I will be having my son take some writing courses using IEW, but want to also use some other type of writing course. I have looked at CW writing (I actually have Aesop A) I'm also looking at Imitation in Writing. I've done an advanced search on here, before I posted... but I can't see comparisons. Can anyone do one? Or point me to a thread? Thanks!!
Vanna
I don't have a comparison b/c I've never used IEW, but I have used Imitation in Writing (Aesop's Fables and Greek Heroes). Here's a description of each of the "Imitations." If you have any questions about the ones I used, I'd be happy to try and answer them. angela in ohio
Imitations in Writing covers the first two units of IEW. IEW, Imitations, and CW are all very similar methods. What about using something like the Six Traits or Write Source guides to mix it up a bit?
SonshineLearner
Thanks Angela, You're the bestest! I wish your husband wanted to hunt in the NW, then you could move :-) (Then hint hint.... Angela, you could start a small Classical School, and my daughter could attend... she's 11:-) Thanks Vanna, too! I'll see if I have any specific questions:-)
