mom2denj
I have a really nice 6 qt. crock pot that I got for Christmas last year and it has got a really big crack in it. We do not have a reciept or warranty. Is there anything that I can do? It is a Rival stoneware crock. Is there any way to repair a crack in stoneware? I love my crockpot and I do not have the $$$ to replace it right now.:crying:
MyThreeSons
Does it actually leak? I have several cracks in mine, but it doesn't leak, so I just keep using it.
Brigitte
I would still use it if the crack does not go all the way through. You might check out your local thrift stores and see if they have one.
Mabeline
That was my thought too. the thrift store has tons of crock pot inserts. Good luck!
ConnieB
Contact Rival....it's possible that they can honor the warranty without the receipt. I can't imagine that most people keep receipts for small appliances, I sure don't. I have never had to have the pot itself replaced, but the handle came off the glass lid and all I had to do was pay shipping, I think it was $10.
