Cera Posted December 23, 2009 Share Posted December 23, 2009 Definitely get a good case. I like the silicone cases from iskin because they offer some cushioning. A friend of mine has a plastic case and is on her third phone because her kids drop it and the shock breaks it. Mine is dropped constantly and has never had any issues. You will need a car charger, and some sort of cover to protect it. Some of these are very expensive ($30-$40) but I got one on clearance at Best Buy for $10. You could get an iTunes gift card, too, so he'll be able to download lots of apps. There are many free ones, but others cost anywhere from 99c to $40. Of course, he'll want music too. Someone posted this question just a couple days ago, and had gotten lots of response. There are literally thousands of apps. Personally, I'd just let dh have a few hours to check them out himself.
