nukeswife
My kids need a chore list to keep them on track but the ones we've tried just don't have any wow factor to keep them interested. I love the looks of Accountable kids, but I'm not sure if it's worth it. I've heard of some making their own cards but I don't really have time to do that, so am thinking the convenience factor of buying it premade would be great. I'd love to hear from any that have used it.
klmama
I haven't, but a friend does. Her dc are 4 and 7. It works great for them. They do their chores, they earn their little prizes, and she gets help with the housework. She said the dc are very enthusiastic about helping, and it didn't wear off after the first month. She does make sure to keep the prize box stuffed with things they particularly want, though.
mominbc
Yes, it does work. However you really need to be consistant, if you aren't it just won't work. It worked great for us but I found when there were disruptions like guests coming for a few days, if I didn't keep at it it was hard to get back on track.
