samba
I have this and plan to have my dd10 go through it soon. She is in BJU 6 now and I think we'll use TC as a review/wrap-up before heading into pre-algebra. I've watched several lessons and I think they are well done. DD likes what she has seen. The only downside is that I would not consider this a full course. The workbook is skimpy. There isn't enough practice for it to serve as a complete course compared to ChalkDust Basic Math or Lial's. I just think it depends on how you want to use it. Carolyn
Penny
Thank you for the reply! I just want to use it as a quick refresher to make sure they understand concepts and possibly cement in ideas. Blessings!
Corraleno
I just want to use it as a quick refresher to make sure they understand concepts and possibly cement in ideas. It's definitely not a full course, but it's perfect for what you want. The teacher, Murray Seigel, is great! Jackie
LuckyDuck103
I agree with PPs. Definitely a refresher. It's very well done though. I used it with my older DD before high school. My 8yo happened to be watching & that's how she learnt multi-digit addition and subtraction. It's not 'fun' but it's good. Highly recommend it.
