Jane in NC
I posted this over on the general board the other day, but things over there seem to get swallowed up fairly quickly. It might be fun to incorporate some of the Christmas activity suggestions from this BBC website into lesson plans in the weeks ahead. There are ideas for Victorian decorations, recipes for things like sugar plums, scrapbooking tidbits and--most amazingly of all--a paper toy theater that you can download and construct. Now I will warn you that I once made one of these from a Dover book. It was very time consuming but ultimately a great deal of fun. Enjoy! astrid
WOW! What a great site! Thank you so much-- I'm going to pass this on to other friends, too. I'll have to check Netflix, because the "Victorian Farm" series sounds wonderful. Again, many thanks! astrid
