pattimiller747
I am looking at ordering Henle Latin. It appears that there are a number of syllabuses available. Do I need a syllabus or can we just work beginning to end at our own pace?
G5052
If you're pretty savy on teaching a foreign language, no. You'll have to drill on vocabulary and the declensions to some extent every day, reaching back to previous material. Some days you'll be reading the discussion and working mostly on new vocabulary, some days you'll be just doing written exercises. Most days you'll just cover a partial page in the main text if you are using it with a logic-stage child. I probably could have done without it, but using the Memoria one does help me partition the work somewhat evenly through the week.

From them, I figured out a general study pattern and I use my own pattern now, with help from the guide.
SonshineLearner
I think it's Queen of Peace or something that I've heard of... besides MP. Also, Seton has some good things for Henle... If you're using Ecclesiastical pronunciation... they have a reading of the Henle book. Yay! Carrie
