Guest Brennemom
My daughter is very interested in St. John's College in Santa Fe. While researching great books programs on-line we discovered Gutenburg College in Eugene, Oregon. Does anyone know anything about this college? Thanks! SonshineLearner
Hi There, I've heard good things about it.... and also St Andrews in Idaho... which is where my oldest daughter really wanted to go... minus the fact that we didn't have $$$ saved for it. St Andrews is not Catholic.... it's Reformed... for the purposes of school... I think a Conservative Christian would feel ok about it. I really liked it... I was raised Bible Fellowship... and Baptist:-) Carrie
Guest Brennemom
Will have to look at St. Andrews. We looked at Thomas Aquinas but we're not Catholic....we're Conservative Christian. (I was raised Baptist and my dh is the son of a Methodist minister). We're just concerned about the non-Christian nature of St. Johns. TravelingChris
I would be concerned about that too plus the campus atmosphere (of St. Johns). If she is thinking of applying, I would visit. However, I knew a student who attended St. Johns in Annapolis and she was a Christian and a conservative.
happygrrl
Three girls in my church are attending Gutenburg College. If you have any specific questions PM or e-mail me and I will ask them... I will be attending a Bible study with them tomorrow night.
