Angel
I am seriously looking at these for presents for my dd and my cousin's little boys. I'd love to hear some feedback though. Anyone?? Thanks!
Stacia
:bigear: I looked at those last year (though decided not to buy) & I'd love to hear opinions too....
secular_mom
Looks like I could make the same thing MUCH cheaper just buying some nylon or other light-weight fabric and some velcro strips. Not to mention, I could customize the colors (use the kids' favorites), make multiple pieces so they can get more creative, etc. This sounds like a GREAT idea for a yule time present though, thanks for posting it is a great idea (blankets are just too heavy and slippery to use for forts and such. Angel
Well I'm not crafty enough to try to make my own:D As big as the hive is, I thought for sure someone would have tried them.
MommyX8
I have one that I bought almost two years ago (double-sided.) It is still going strong. My kids play with it often. It isn't anything that I would want to try to sew. Lots of velcro tabs, windows. I don't even like folding the thing no less sewing one. Angel
Thanks! Durability was a main concern. Dd loves to build forts but I discourage it because I'm missing couch pillows and blankets all over the house. Then it always falls down and the crying/frustration begins.
