Grace is Sufficient
I looked in the index and the table of contents and didn't see it. Is there an alternate terminology? If this helps you, Chapters 1-4 seem to be about functions: Chapter 1 is Functions and Their Graphs; Chapter 2 is Polynomial and Rational Functions; Chapter 3 is Exponential and Logarithmic Functions; and Chapter 4 is Trigonometric Functions. Sorry I couldn't help more.
AngieW in Texas
Are you talking about functions that are different based on the input value? example: f(x)=x+5 for x<3 f(x)=x-2 for x=3 f(x)=x for x>3 If that's what you mean, they're in chapter 1 section 2. Thank you so much! I am using a different book and I am trying to match up the concepts.
