Can I put already-started chicken soup in the crock? Will it finish in 4 hours?

I used the chicken I asked about earlier. I thawed it and it smelled and looked totally fine, so I went ahead with it. It's been boiling for an hour or so, but I have a few errands I really want to get done today. Can I transfer the soup to the crockpot, add all the veggies, and let it cook on high for another four hours? Will that be enough time, do you think? I've never done soup in the crockpot before, so I'm not sure how long it usually takes.
