MIch elle
A skunk sprayed near our home. I think it was just outside our plastic fence because last night our terriers came in and we thought they got sprayed but only one smelled a bit on her nose. We bathed both of them. Last night we put fans in the windows away from the smelly area but the house still STINKS this morning! :w00t: How do I get rid of the smell in the house?? Do I have to go outside and clean the area outside? If so, what do I use to clean the grass, plastic fence & blacktop driveway? TIA
inactive
For the odor inside the house, put an open kettle of water on the stove to boil. Add some vanilla...and let simmer... ;) For the odor outdoors, I think it will just have to "wear off"... I feel your pain -- our 13 year old cat has been sprayed multiple times. :svengo:
BridgeTea
I second the vanilla. Our former home/neighborhood was plagued by skunks. Burning vanilla candles seemed to work the best, along with the fans and open windows.
