dairy mom
I would like my dd to read The Deadliest Monster. We have not read Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde or Frankenstein and probably won't have time. I was thinking about renting the movies for these books. Could someone tell me which movie versions follow the books the closest? Thanks, Nancy
readwithem
Has you dd done a Worldview camp? My dd leaves Sunday for her 4th year :)
dairy mom
She has never been to a worldview camp. This year we are doing Lightbearers from Summit Ministries (a middle school worldview curriculum). I have a friend whose daughter went to a worldview camp and from what I understand there is one near by every year. So I am going to keep that in mind for the future. Miss Marple
I still haven't found a good, authentic version of Frankenstein. We did watch one after we read the book, but it was more entertainment rather than "true to the book". It was fun....but definitely not educational :-)
The other Kimberly
The closest Frankenstien Movie I have seen is the one with Robert DeNiro, Kenneth Branagh, & Helena Bonham Carter. Can't remember if it also contains objectionable material, so preview before watching.
