Table Blessing in Greek??

Does anyone know where I can find the Table Blessing in Koine Greek? We just started using Elementary Greek Year One and would really, really like to incorporate the Table Blessing (in Greek) as part of our memory work.

 

I have googled this in every combination of words that I can think of and cannot not find it anywhere. I did find a pretty cool translation website that will translate English to Greek (and dozens of other languages!), but I'm not sure which Greek it is (Modern, Homeric, Koine, or Attic) and I want to be sure that we learn it correctly...tenses and conjugations of our nouns & verbs.

 

We really liked how the Table Blessing was translated into Latin in Latina Christiana I and would like to find the same for Greek.

 

Any ideas?? Oh, and it's not in Memory Work...that's the first place I checked.

But I don't have it myself, so I'm not entirely sure...

 

(BTW, these would be Byzantine era Greek, not Koine, but the dialects are close enough that for these traditional prayers, the difference should not be a problem...)

When my husband is back home from dd's skating, I'll verify with him whether the regular prayer books are in modern Greek or in koine. The Bible, of course, is in koine; however, I'm not sure about the daily prayer books. (I suspect that they are in koine, but want to be accurate for you !)

 

Until then, here are the "prayers before meals" in an English translation, so that you will know what you are looking for:

O Most Holy Trinity, have mercy on us! Lord, cleanse us from our sins! Master, pardon our transgressions! Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities for Thy name's sake.

We learned it when while studying Latin and continue to use it daily. I would like to start with a Koine Greek translation of this simple prayer before moving on to The Lord's Prayer (Our Father) and other prayers.

This is a Protestant prayer. (I guess somebody translated it into Latin as part of a Latin school program.)

 

When you want the "Our Father", that is easy to locate.

Is included in the book I linked. That's why I mentioned it -- because it's so similar to the Latin and English versions... I just haven't found the Greek to compare how close it really might be.
