FriedClams
I have a DS6 who would be a 1st grader locally. He reads everything in sight - well and with full comprehension (if I had to guess he's on about a 4th grade reading level, easily). He's ripping through 2nd grade math and does 4-5 lessons a day of Singapore 1A for fun. He's a first grader. He does FLL1 and completely gets it. I could push him more - and did - until I realized that you only get to be a stinky, dirty, bike-riding, mud digging, dog playing, lying on the couch reading whatever book you like 6 year old boy once. So I am letting him. And embracing it. I'm glad we've found our pace (and peace). Enjoy the journey.
