Who should not eat raw honey?

Recommended Posts

Aside from infants (I think), who should not have raw honey in their diet?

Actually, infants and toddlers should not have honey at all. This is due to the risk of botulism which isn't killed by heat or pasteurization.

The main problem with raw honey (as far as I understand) is for people with allergies. Raw honey isn't filtered, it can contain more pollen and such. You have to be careful with wild honey because some types are actually poisonous.
