thescrappyhomeschooler
I think I'm going to use that as my excuse. :D Me, too!
Jennifer in MI
NOOOOOOOOO. Don't give in to excuses!!!!! GO DO IT!!!!! Laundry will take you, what, 5 minutes? Loading the dishwasher will take you 10 minutes - tops! So in 15 minutes you get the chores done and you can come back here with a clean conscious! Go. Get. Scat. thescrappyhomeschooler
I have to sort a mountain of clothes down the basement, start washing, drying, then fold and put away. That will definitely take longer than 5 minutes.:D But, I guess I can go pull some stuff out of the heap and get a load going, now. Thanks for the push! Evergreen State Sue
Me too! It's my birthday, the house is a wreck, and I don't want to clean it up, because, well . . . it's my birthday and I shouldn't have to, right? But just in case somebody comes over, I guess I'd better make the effort, huh?
specialmama
Set your timer for 15 minutes and clean as fast as you can! You can do it! You can accomplish sooo much in 15 minutes! YOU GO, GIRL!!!

Actually, I'm guilty of cleaning anytime I expect company -- even if it means they will track stuff in my house because it's an all day event. I still do it. Evergreen State Sue
Birthday girl, I still wouldn't clean on your birthday! Make someone else do it! Thanks for the permission! Only one more hour to go and then we'll be going out to dinner. Hope nobody comes a calling in the next hour. Boy would my face be red!
