phathui5
You don't have to register, or test, or report to the state unless someone complains that you're traunt. Keep records for yourself for each subject in case they ever ask for them.
elegantlion
Do 1000 hours (600 core, 400 non core) in one year. Maintain a portfolio (that you never have to show to anyone). No reporting, no testing required. Check the websites of some state support groups and they usually have it outlined.

bdroberts1998
Logging the hours was really confussing for me. I did find a website that helped me understand it. They have a lot of other good stuff too. http://missourihomeschool.wordpress.com/ Missouri laws are really nice. I keep a log book of our hours. (made one of my word program) If you would like it I can send it to you. I also keep my lesson plans, and all work that we do. Hope this helps. ....
I keep a lesson plan, portfolio and attendance sheet with hours/location logged. Don't forget location is part of law in Land of Mo. School year begins July 1st, I think also... I agree that the laws are kinda strange in MO. They took me several readings to figure them out.
