Missouri homeschool law????? Keep it simple for me.

Keep track of hours.

1000 hrs per year - your choice start month -

600 hrs. core subjects 400 hrs. non-core subjects.

 

Keep some samples of work.

 

Have a good time with your children :)

Logging the hours was really confussing for me. I did find a website that helped me understand it.

Missouri laws are really nice.

I keep a log book of our hours. (made one of my word program) If you would like it I can send it to you. I also keep my lesson plans, and all work that we do. Hope this helps.

I keep a lesson plan, portfolio and attendance sheet with hours/location logged.

 

Don't forget location is part of law in Land of Mo.

 

School year begins July 1st, I think also...

 

I agree that the laws are kinda strange in MO. They took me several readings to figure them out.
