Lady_Dulcinea
Can't seem to find this info anywhere. I wanted to make back-to-school shirts and the kids asked for tie-dye. I wanted to write something on the shirts so I bought a black fabric marker. Do you think I should do the writing before or after dying.....or is this even a good idea? Thanks
Sasharowan
I think that after the dying would probably be best for using the fabric markers.

I would use the markers after- you can use markers, fabric paint, stencils, etc. just fine after the shirts are dyed, washed, and dried. Have fun, and let me know if you have any other questions- we tie dye at least once a year.
Cera
I would think after dying but you could search dharmatrading.com for directions. We get all our tie dye supplies there.
