FLL and Writing With Ease? Use Together?

Do you use these two together or do they overlap each other? Is it too much to use together? It seems like alot.

We use both and it's going well. We do FLL 3 times a week and WWE 4 times a week. We skip the copywork/dictations from FLL since that is covered by WWE. It really ends up being quick, easy, and effective. HTH.

We started using this year for 1st grade based upon recommendations from the hive. So far, so good. Lessons for each are very short and sweet, and DS actually enjoys them. I don't think it's too much at all. I think they balance each other nicely.

We use them together. Yes, there is some overlap but as you get further into FLL, it changes to more of a grammar focus which means less overlap w/ WWE. It doesn't take long to do both each day. We like to do them at separate times during the day to separate the writing.

We also started to use them both together for the new year. They are very different. FLL is grammer/parts of speech. WWE is writing/sentence structure. We have done the first 4 lessons of both and are going well.

I use them together, too. It's not too much at all. I typically don't do the optional exercise at the end of each lesson in FLL.
