We are thinking of trying to get away the 2nd or 3rd week of september (yes, I know, it is still hurricane season then), but with h/s-ing we can take advantage of lower rates, and hope that we don't get blown away in 150+mph winds (which already happened to us once in St. Maarten). Are you looking to camp? Do you want places you can hike? Or are you looking for something more "city"? Do you want places with historical significance?
