yvonne
What is a good (beginners!) app to use to make pretty notebook pages? Jessica made some beautiful ones for Old Mother West Wind. There seem to be a lot of ready-made pdf ones on the homeschool market, but I'd really like to be able to make my own for whatever we're studying at the time. Do people just use MS Word and cut and paste images? Or is there some graphics app that lest you paste images and resize them, add pretty borders, do the graphics for those mini-lapbook books, etc.? Thanks for any ideas! yvonne

Rhonda in TX
It's more like digital scrapbooking. There is a tutorial here. We've also used CK Scrapbook Designer, but I started having difficulty printing the right colors, so I went back to GIMP.
