Whitneyz
Something that's fun, yet challenging....I want them to love reading and enjoy it. Yet I don't want books that aren't worth reading or healthy! I don't know any of the newer titles of books for kids. Where can I go to for good books without having to read them all first. kpupg
Where can I go to for good books without having to read them all first. Yeah, it's getting time-consuming LOL! I googled for high school reading lists -- you'll get mainly classics on those, but I found those lists useful because they reminded me of a lot of good titles I had forgotten about. But you really want to know about newer titles, and for that I am getting out the popcorn ... :lurk5: Karen
mktkcb
Sonlight. Their books are a nice mix of genres, and most of them are good reads.

Kareni
I like this book: Reading Lists for College-Bound Students by Doug Estell. And here are a couple more you might wish to look for: Great Books for High School Kids: A Teacher's Guide to Books That Can Change Teens' Lives by Amy Crawford and 500 Great Books for Teens by Anita Silvey. bclerkin
Yes, thanks for the advice. I have a son who hates reading, maybe some of these ideas will help.
