  1. ha ha..it thought there might be a more technical term...but I guess not...:001_smile: Thx!
  2. What do you call the phenomenon where people label a behavior as a result of what you do. Is there a name for it? For example, a Christian does something usually/always negative and people say,"It's because they're a Christian." Or, you homeschool and your child does poorly in a subject or has a behavioral issue and people say, "It's because he was home schooled." When in fact nonChristians or public schooled people might exhibit those behaviors as well.... There must be a logic term for this????:confused: Right?
  3. Lesson 114 in Saxon Algebra 1 specifically asks the student to use a graphing calculator. My dd is on her own using Saxon Teacher CD's so I'm not involved...:). I have a TI-30xIIS...I'm wondering if that will suffice then! Thx
  4. awesome!!! I'm going to stick with my 4 years of Latin plan and give my dd some french to do on her own for the last 2 years....thx
  5. oh my, what to do???? Every college I've looked at the minimum requirement is 2 years of a foreign language. I'd really like to just do the Latin 4 years?
  6. Thanks! I am checking and see that many require as a minimum 2 years of one "world" language whatever that means...I'm assuming a currently spoken one :)???? so while I'd like to do 4 years of Latin...I may have to forgo the last 2 years and sub. French or Spanish..I can't see myself teaching two at the same time....
