Kate CA
If you were making white bean soup with sausage and had sauteed zucchini, onions, and garlic to add, what other spices would you add to it? I am open to almost anything, but limited to my normal spice cabinet. ;)
anewday
You're eating SOUP when it's 100 degrees outside?!?! :svengo::svengo::svengo: *snicker snort*
anewday
Cumin
Dobela
:iagree:I must admit, soup is not on my mind whenit is 100degrees either. But, if it were, with those ingredients I would likely add an italian blend of some sort.
LaxMom
Thyme? Herbs de Provence? I think thyme is classic with white beans, though, and savory? (I totally eat soup any time I please, regardless of the weather.)
Guest Virginia Dawn
I agree with the cumin. You could also add oregano or parsley.

LOL Cumin. I will have to think about that one. Thank you!

Kate CA
I agree with the cumin. You could also add oregano or parsley. Cumin reminds me of chili and I don't want that for tonight, but I like it for other things. Oregano I considered, but was dilly dallying on it. LOL I just want a chef. Is that so much to ask for?! :D
Kate CA
Cumin And Dawn, it *is* only 94. ;) Hee hee.
mommybee
You're eating SOUP when it's 100 degrees outside?!?! :svengo::svengo::svengo: *snicker snort* We just ate soup as well. But as Kate said it's cheap and for me it's easy. Throw it all in a pot and it's good. I would add Thyme and Oregano and I usually add a bit of cayenne to all my soups. Spy Car
I like Thyme and/or a small amount of Rosemary in white bean soup.
