swellmomma
My oldest yes. Even now at 10.5 he is a very reluctant writer, and is still very active and hands on. My other ds 5.5, is my sloth child and is a late writer, we are still working on basic letter formation and he is really struggling (THough the OT says there is no reason for his struggles). LadyAberlin
Mine was an early writer as well as super active. He kind of goes through phases though. He is a perfectionist when it comes to handwriting and so sometimes he doesn't want to write just because he doesn't like the way it looked. He started writing letters though when he had just turned 2. My other active son though will be three in Sept and he hasn't started trying to write yet. Laura Corin
My late writer is the opposite of active. He's coming into his own now, but he was very low energy and had delayed motor skills - the cause of the late writing. Laura
Kristen in NC
My late writer is very active. Not only did he not write, he didn't draw anything either until late K.
