Disappearing Lake by susan Miller, as I recall...Amazon has it, google disappearing lake denali amazon and you'll get it, I'll bet. We liked it better than A Child's Alaska. Say....you aren't going on the Alaska HS cruise next summer are you??
Staceyshoe
I'm resurrecting an old thread. We're planning a trip to Alaska in the fall, and I'd like to do a really indepth study this summer. Ds has already studied biomes (knows nothing about glaciers though), arctic wildlife, and we're in the midst of Guesthollow Native American study so will cover some of the history. Any other favorite resources? (I'd espeically like to cover glaciers, whales, and anything else that may come up during our trip--I'm not sure yet what that might be.)
