It seems like a lot of readers~! Letters and Sounds test book-- If you plan to test for child then it's must. Language 1--this a workbook. It teaches them spelling rules and others. Home School Phonics, Reading, and Spelling 1 Curriculum --This is a lesson plan. Spelling and Poetry 1--This is a spelling book. The language and letters and sounds are also seatwork. If you don't believe in busywork, don't buy it. For the readers you'll need the following: Fun with Pets Tiptoes Stepping Stones Secrets & Surprises Bridge Book Kind & Brave Aesop's Fables Strong & True The other two are just extras.
