Ray
Hello, I am wondering if anyone has information on the scope and sequence of RightStart Math? TIA. Ray
gardening momma
Is there a particular level you're interested in? You might get more info from the yahoo RightStart group. http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/RightStart/
PeterPan
http://www.alabacus.com/pageView.cfm?pageID=270 At this link, you can then click the individual products, where you will see a link on the left to download samples of that product (level A, B, whatever). In that sample should be the table of contents, which actually lists every single lesson and topic. I looked for a s&s for you and didn't see one. Feel free to call their 1-800 number and ask, as it's a perfectly reasonable question. The way they put it is that level B meets all the state standards for 1st grade, quite a bit of the 2nd grade state standards, and even a bit of 3rd. Similarly, level C covers all the state standards for 2nd, quite a bit of 3rd, and even a bit of 4th. And so on with each level. So it does cover all the state standards and weave in a variety of topics, not just one math function or whatever.
Ray
OhElizabeth, I was hoping a ready made outline existed somewhere, or someone had allready done the work and cobbled something together those links.:D gardening momma, I used to participate at that forum, we used to use RightStart (A/B) with first child. I am thinking of revisiting the program for our youngest kid. Not a Scope & Sequence, but something like this for RightStart would fit the bill. http://www.singmath.com/SM_Miquon.htm Thanks again.
