Karen sn
I should probably know this. What are the twinkling lights outside my bedroom window? We finally have clear skies and I am watching stars. I love a clear sky. Anyway. So I'm looking out the window (toward the southwest I believe) and I see two twinkling lights. The larger and brighter of the two flashes red, white, and green light. My dd said it appeared to be turning in the sky. I am guessing these are planets. Which ones? TIA if anyone knows.....off to bed now. Aunty Social
Well, I don't really know, but I'll give you my guess and bump it up so that someone who knows what they're talking about can answer. Could it be a satelite? There's so much junk up there now that I never know if what I'm looking at is natural I'd man made.:tongue_smilie:

Can't help you except to say that planets don't twinkle unless there's some sort of atmospheric disturbance on Earth.
