So why the "not pregnant" on the digital one?
I'll definitely be retesting in the morning!

Not sure how to get the pic to show up. Will try on the computer later.
It was a blue test. Period is 2 days late.

So, I took a test today and swear there was a faint line. Faint, but there.
Then I went and got a digital test that said not pregnant.
Now I am so confused. If you got this test (pic) and then a "not pregnant"'reading what would you think!

We are hoping to build a house soon on my in laws 220 acre farm!! The plan right now is to have 3 bedrooms upstairs (one being a master) and a modest master suite downstairs too. The idea is aging in place - when we are old everything on one level. But it will be a school room for many years and we will use the master upstairs. Then when kids and grands come to visit they can take the upstairs rooms :)

We do a little "co-op" that I run with two other families from church who are also doing Kindergarten this year. We take turns hosting and tie the co-op to the books we have been reading or to a holiday.
Today I hosted Thanksgiving co-op, which I had planned out. There were a total of 8 kids and 3 moms and we read several books together, made "thankful for" wreaths and handprint turkeys and had a FEAST with al the normal Thanksgiving food. It went so well. We had friends here from 11-3 and just had a lovely time.
But then I was TIRED!

I always wear my wedding band when out of the house. I wear my engagement ring sometimes. I take it off to sleep, wash dishes etc.
DH never takes his off, ever.

I'm not the OP either but my son will need level 2 after Christmas!

We are loving everything overall. The Sonlight books are great but I'm having to change their schedule.
It's our first year homeschooling and we are doing Right Start A (1st Ed), AAR level 1, Handwriting without Tears and Sonlight p4/5 books.

We do play dates weekly and he will play with kids at the gym (2-3x a week), but at home he will do NOTHING besides 1 hr of quiet time. He wants me to do everything with him. Fun toys don't matter if we can't play them together. And it's starting to drive me nuts!

I have an almost five year old and KNOW that play is good for him, but he is an EXTREME extrovert and hates all things independent. (He recently told me if he could choose he would never ever be alone and that he'd always have someone playing with him!)
He has a 2.5yo sister who he will sometimes play with but hat often turns into bickering/fighting. I can sometimes get them to play together for 20-30 minutes if I'm lucky.
He will do a 1 hr quiet time upstairs but that's about it. Getting any sort of independent play from him is like pulling teeth!!
We have a small back yard that's fenced - he thinks it's torture to be sent out to play. He wants to be interacting with someone ALLLLL the time. If I tell him I'm not playing he mopes or cries or says he doesn't want to do anything at all.
How do I help him learn to play alone (and gain a bit more sanity from a break?)? He's always been like this - the 1 hr quiet time was a huge win after lots and lots of practice and him listening to audiobooks. I really want to encourage him to play alone more and with his sister more but don't know quite how. Thoughts??

Mine is on the truck too but we leave at 1pm til Saturday. I don't know if it will make it!

We are loving AAR so far! It's going well and not too hard for my son. He easily reads the cards, does the games, etc but moans and groans at just the sight of the fluency pages.
He can't be the only one. How do people handle these? Suggestions for making them more fun?

Met in 5th grade. Started dating in 11th (but I started school early and skipped a grade so was 14/15 that year). Got married when we graduated college - I was 20 he was 22.
No regrets whatsoever! We've grown together well!

I am heavy set for sure. I wear a tanking w/skirt bottoms. This is what I feel comfortable in. I've been much slimmer but still preferred this type of swimsuit.
I do not understand why this is even a discussion. If someone small, medium, large or 3xl wants to wear a bikini why would that matter at all to anyone else? I couldn't care less what anyone else wears (as long as they wear something;)

How did you implement HWOT with your DC? Did you follow it according to the teacher guide? Did you do all the "extras" - wooden pieces, stamps, roll dough Mats etc?
Would love to hear what doing this curriculum looked like in your home!

My poor hubby got a lousy cool. I made DiGiorno pizzas and hot pockets and thought I was making dinner 😳. I was 20 and that's how I grew up.
I've learned a lot and am a pretty good cook now!

France, Spain, St Lucia, St Kitts & Nevis, Bolivia, Venezuela, Argentina, Curaçao
Most of the East Coast, TX and CA.
My favorite was St Lucia - we had a really dreamy honeymoon in our own villa overlooking the ocean. It was so so spectacular. Glad we did that while we could - don't think anything like that will be in the budget ever again ;)
I'd love to go to Italy and Greece!

Thanks. Every single box checked on the practice test! I think we are ready to go!
