My 8 yo dd continually asks what certain foods do for you (the ones that I tell them are healthy and they have to eat:001_smile:). I am looking for a resource that lists all of the vitamins and minerals, their function for the body, and the foods that contain them. I would also like to find a VERY comprehensive list of foods with the specific vitamins, minerals, and what they do for you. Kind of a reverse of the vitamins/minerals. I prefer a book, but a good website will do too. I am not looking for alot of details just a good summary that she can understand and reference with help if needed. Thanks!
