Please say yes. ;)

I agree. I much prefer CVA's facebook page. But I turned 40 yesterday :) so maybe we're just old. :)

well, at least the VISlONlNG® chick is CERIFIED.
I'm guessing that's a step or two above certified. :001_huh:

This made me laugh. I might try it. "I know Mama never said you could..." :)
And for the record, I LOVE CVA. It just made me laugh. :)

Thanks, Joann. That definitely makes sense - it is the brand new James Madison Critical Thinking Course from the Critical Thinking Co. I can't wait to see it! :)

Does anyone know what "experimental" means under the funding status? I have one req which shows four items as "funded" and two as "experimental." :?

social groups are working again! :D

I guess I was more fortunate than I realized - we just joined last summer and got Valley - Mr. Eldon Palmer - we have no complaints at all!!! I haven't minded jumping through a few hoops for all the benefit we receive. :)
What *is* annoying me :001_huh: is the social groups still being down! Joann, was it you who posted a link to help interpret the MAP test results? We tested this week but aren't supposed to get "results" until next week, although I did print off the preliminary scores. Would you mind reposting that link here?
Thank you!!!! :)

Hi Beth!
(I know your name ... we have some common friends, mostly from CC) :)
We are scheduled to take the MAP through CVA in a couple weeks. My kids have both taken it through River HomeLink the past 3 years. It is quick and painless. I don't put much stock in the scores ... as they usually show my kids are way ahead of where I know they really are. ;) But it fulfills the yearly testing requirements, which is what I'm after. So it depends on what you are looking for in a test. :)

This had me all confused the other day too. :)
In the cloud, you can select the songs (but only one at a time) and then download them to your computer (any computer!). Then you can move them to your ipod.
Does that help? :001_huh:

I'm in Washougal - I'd love to come. :)

Amy, I don't know what exactly the state history is - I ordered it on Thursday! I definitely got the impression that it was more than a book though! I'll let you know.
Joann, you are right. My 8th grader is technically the one who will be doing it, for HS credit. I figured I'd "let" :) my 6th grader tag along as much as he was interested. He is actually quite interested ever since the trip to the Capitol last month. :)
