I am well read but spelling is still difficult. I have a dictionary by the computer. I didn't post online forever because of spelling. I have seen threads on the old board, where comments were made on grammar/spelling. This board seems alot less formal. Oh and I didn't evern notice spell check. Thanks for pointing it out

Alabama. well the poll opened up when I closed my post.

I purchased mine at the local teacher supply store. Rainbow Resource has them. I am sure other home school stores do also. I don't have to make them study history they just pick up the cards. They love see who knows the most.

My oldest is a great help. He has protected and nurtured his brother. My husband and I wonder what the youngest will be like without the older brother to help keep him out of trouble. My dh and I are both the oldest of 3 sibling.

Ok, new pastor's wife, so the one who got me intothis is gone. I am going to try the more direct, date, time etc. I'll update after I speak with her this weekend. I feel so much better just telling someone. I have made alternate plans of using the library if my stuff is not returned. It was a sonlight core and you know how much those are. Thanks for reading.

What sources are you using? Please give me curriculum or online suggestions. I guess this would be called computer science or intro to computers. I need to know of a put together class or a list of computer programs he needs. Thanks for your help

and about $30.00 more for other stuff. It was my youngest birthday last week. We don't watch TV. We read aloud as a family. The video system is fun. I am one if used in moderation it great.

This is still a really good building market. There is alot of new growth. There seems to be a new mall or subdivision every other week.

It sounds like a reaction. You need to change antibiotics.

But we are not well traveled like others. I have always lived in Alabama. I have vacationed in Cancun, Florida, and Maui. So I don't have a lot to compare to. But I would love to live there. My dh and I still talk about it and its been 7 years.

Now if you raise the military age to 21 then I would say raise the drinking age. I am a mother of boys. WE don't drink. But its just doesn't make sense to train someone to kill or die for their country but they can't make buy cigarette and alcohol. That should be an adult decisions. I was married at 20 and couldn't buy alcohol. That just doesn't make sense

My dh allows M rated games. I don't play so its hard for me to give a opinion.. But from what I have read and seen. I want them gone. I am just curious what is allowed in you home

Pastor's wife volunteered my stuff to another family. They were having $ problems. I should of just said no but its one of those situations were its is just expected that in christian fellowship you don't mind sharing. I have been trying since september to get my stuff back. She says they are not finished. They need a little more time etc., etc. They should of been done back last summer. They must never do any school work. I call for the I don't know how many times. I get we need it a little longer. Oh the last time I talk to her she actually was talking like I would give her another year worth of curriculum. I have made myself as clear and possible without being ugly. She just doesn't get it. I just feel bad because dh works hard for us to buy our stuff. I really need the curriculum this summer for my 2nd ds. I am now trying to figure out what to do. Oh! I am so having a hard time with how angry she makes me.. Can I SCREAMMMM. That feels better.

I know after hurricane katrina/ I live on the coast and we were complaining of $3.25 gas and having to wait 2 week for it.* It will continue to climb.* I think it will get to about $4.50 by the end of summer.* Its now $3.69 here

I live of the Alabama coast where oil rigs are seen. I then go off the Florida coast which does not allow them. They are ugly and have the potential to leak. I just know in America we are spoiled andwill not change our habits I love to get in the car and go. So we depend onthe Middle Eastthat really don't like us. So we are basically a economic slave to them. I say we need to drill. I tried a 10%ethanol/gas mix and my 05 jeep ran terrible. I just don't think its the best way to go. I would prefer america start growing its own food, no just corn fields.

My dh did take the boys for the first time last year. They were 13 and 10. I have always taken them usually giving them about 10 dollars and took them to the dollar store or something like that. I still have coffee cups and stuff that they bought. My 11 yo still points out-remember Mom when I got that for you. It makes them feel so good.

I got put in the situation at church.* The pastors wife volunteered my stuff to another family. They were having $ problems. I really don't mind helping others. It's just so expensive to buy curriculum.* I can't afford to replace stuff. Anyway, guess what the family has not returned my stuff.* I have spoke to her several times.* She is like " we aren't finished"**** "We need it a little longer"* I just want to scream. They must never do any school work, cause it should of been finished last summer. Oh and she actually ask to* borrow more of my stuff. I just want to rant at her but christian adults don't do that in the real world, we are meek and kind hearted but oh what planet is she own. That felt so good to say.

the first 15 -20 minutes of movie has the main character pick up a one night stand they show some s*x type activity and there is some language. We took my 11yo and 14yo. I had to cover the 11 yo eyes a couple of times. I thought we were going to have to leave but it cleaned up after that. We loved the movie. Just thought you would want to know about the beginning.

Get a kids size potty.. My youngest is 11 so its been awhile but the kids pot had a cup thats slides on the front so when a boy sat down the attachment cupped him when he sat. So it caught the urine. If you are using a regular toilet than he will have to be trained to push "it" down. Thats what I did with the boys when away from home.

It took 2 years to convince my dh. I have two boys. We are eclectic. I would love to be total classical but my oldest was an ABEKA burn out from private school when we started. He has the attitude of school, when will it be over. My younger loves to learn. He didn't attend regular school as long.
Life before homeschool Cardiac Recovery Nurse. I have been married 18 years.

I did pay the turbo fee using my debit. I don't understand why the IRS can't just mail the check to you. Why the delay? Is this happening with other tax software or just turbo.
