  1. Thank goodness you posted. I was feeling alone. My problem is my child only has passion for his imaginative world. It's an amazing place, he acts out books and invents huge fantasy world. He plays for hours. Problem I have is he never wants to buckle down and learn. Everyday has been a fight lately. I understand your frustration but have no real ideas. I have been trying to relax about it. Last week on a particularly crabby day we ditch everything and went on a nature walk. It's exhausting. FYI he is 11.

  2. Sorry you are feeling so lonely.
I often feel that way too. Everyone is always busy. Not sure why I do the same stuff LOL. I have started to complement my amazing time management. :)
I'm sure it's not you. The world has become to hurried. People need to bring back the simple on life.
You and your family will find your niche it takes time.
Chin up, enjoy your children. Friendships with them are the best kind.

  3. It is self publishing(not sure that is the correct term for it). The women running the class is a photographer. She will use here photo book supplies to make a hardcopy for them. My son is so excited.

  4. That's great. My son is addicted to writing too. He is writng a novel titled Fawn of the Dawn. It is inspired by the Redwall series. He is doing a creative writing class and they are going to publish their books when they are done. Great incentive. Writing your autobiography will be inspiring to them. Best of luck happy writing.

  5. We started with BFSU. It worked perfectly. Drawn by greener grass I left looking for less planning and something better. What I found? Nothing better and a lot of frustration. We will be returning to BFSU. I like the way it guides me to teach science and makes my son see science around him. So while there is planning it is worth or for our school.
