This set up will be better able to handle 99% of the stuff the old board couldn't. As long as ladies stop doing the one line set up with NT after it, and get that figured out, the ball will get rolling and we can have fun. Jenn--the general rule of thumb is, if you are posting an image, make it a small, thumbnail size (but bigger than an avatar), like 150 X 150. And sigs, while nice to look at, should be short sweet and to the point. Excessive html and stuff like that takes away from being able to tell whether it's a post or a sig.

GothicGyrl swears she is working. I think that's what they call it anyway. Shan--I'm having trouble not making it too cutesy, no matter what I do the bear either comes out mean or cute. :) But, have no fear, I CAN do this and I will. Just gotta make a less mean bear.

Or just go to the top of the board and click on "New Posts". It will show you the newest posts in each section.

Sharon, yes you could. Mkt--i-photo should give you a URL to use for linking to the photo, just put that URL in the URL box and save. It should then link to iphoto for your avatar.

Sharon---first, leave the subject line blank. You no longer have to do that. :) It's the same, but different. The avatar stays by your user name until you change it and everyone can see it. The picture is in your profile and isn't seen unless someone checks your profile out.

That's the best part--that the for sale board shows up in the New Posts section like all the rest.

See the Hawt British dude next to my name? That's an avatar. Go to "User CP" up at the top, then click on "edit avatar" (left side) and you can upload one from your computer. :)

Obviously, I love it. I loathed the old format--any board like that, including TM, is just old and out of date. This format is so much more manageable and easier to navigate. Believe me, you will get used to it quickly. And then you will wonder how you ever lived without it. :) toni

Heather--avatars appear disabled on this board. This board set up is exactly like my snopes board and in the "edit avatar" section, there is no way to edit or upload an avatar. It just says "avatars disabled". Everything else works. But not even the stock avatars that come with the board are showing on here (and they do on the snopes board). ~~Toni
